Remy Begnaud is an ex-Navy SEAL who has an extraordinary gift. He can control the elements, especially storms, and can summon lightning at will. Gorgeous Haley Marie Holmes is a para-meteorologist from ACRO, a covert organization, and it’s made up of individuals who have special powers. Haley’s job is to recruit Remy. Will she be able to convince Remy of her sincerity before their enemy reaches him first?
I found Riding the Storm to be a very entertaining, fast paced and a spicy start to Ms. Croft’s new paranormal series that simply explodes with its unforgettable opening scene. It’s a paranormal erotic romance that pulls the reader into this fascinating world from the very first page. The book is well-written and engages the reader immediately. Not only are readers given a glimpse into Remy and Haley’s world but the chemistry between them is powerful and steamy and will have you reaching for your toys. Haley and Remy explode sexually. There are also additional subplots that spice up this book and we’re allowed into Creed and Annika’s story. Even though these secondary characters tale doesn’t quite tie in seamlessly with the main theme it nonetheless makes for a gripping and highly erotic romance that will have you turning the pages compulsively and longing to read further about them.
We are also introduced to other additional characters lives like Devlin O’Malley, the reclusive but sexy head of ACRO who has his own secrets, and possibly his own book? There are some unresolved storyline developments that I hope are further explored in the next book in this series. Overall I found this book thoroughly entertaining and it will knock your socks off with its sensational, scorching and inventive sex, and this is something the author excels in with enough varied romps to satisfy every reader including a male on male bondage scene. The sex more than sizzles, it is flammable. You can’t go wrong in picking up a copy of Riding the Storm with its elements of paranormal suspense, great dialogue, fast paced plot, good world building, fantastic sex, and compelling characters who will be featured and fleshed out in the upcoming books in this new series.

The answer to that is yes! *g* In Unleashing The Storm, one of the big subplots, the one involving the mole at ACRO, will kick into high gear. The "storm" plot will also come into play and kick off book 3, Seduced By The Storm.
