What's that saying…when it rains, it pours?
Boy, howdy.
A couple of weeks ago, our desktop computer died. Really died. Like, it won't even start. Thankfully, I don't use that computer except when I need to print something out. So the thing needs to be sent to Dell for repair…but doing so will kill our internet because the wireless is hooked up through it. We've been putting it off because I have my laptop, so the need for the other computer isn't dire…
Until now.
My laptop is having some MAJOR issues. Some damned spyware got into it, and although I got rid of the spyware, it wreaked havoc. I'm now having problems with RAM, internet, word processing…OMG, not happy.
So if I disappear for, oh, weeks, that's why. I need to send my laptop off for repair — at the WORST possible time.

Computer problems suck. This year I got so fed up with spyware & viruses and keeping all that updated…and clearing it off our computers when we did have problems, that I switched to a MAC. Love, LOVE, it. Never thought I’d be a Mac person but, well, I am!

I swear, people who write viruses and do that spyware crap need to be strung up by whatever body part will hurt them the most.

Thanks for the commiseration, everyone! OMG, computer problems SUCK!!!! I’m still having them, but at least the computer is usable for now. The fixes I did are temporary, but they’ll have to do for now.
I swear, I’m getting a Mac next…
