Playing Catch-Up!
Things have been BUSY, so I've been scrambling to get caught up.
Stephanie and I turned in Sydney's book 3 (Seduced By The Storm) on Friday, and now we're working on revisions to Shadow Play, the Sydney novella that'll be published in a Bantam anthology with Stephanie's individual novella, Night Vision, and Eden Bradley's The Art of Desire. Hopefully we can get the novella turned in this week, since we'll probably have revisions on SBTS very soon.
We're also getting ready for a chat at Joyfully Reviewed on Tuesday. The entire day will be dedicated to paranormal writing duos, so make sure you tune in because there will be some fantastic authors and lots of excerpts and giveaways!
And YAY! Sydney got some AWESOME reviews over the last couple of days for Riding The Storm! Pardon my need to shout it out, but I'm thrilled about these! *g* Click on the links for the full reviews, but here are the snippets:
Paula at A Romance Review, gave it 5 out of 5 roses and says:
Riding the Storm is the start of a fantastic new series, and readers should start marking their calendars now so that they can pick up the next book as soon as it hits the shelves. The potent combination of power and passion smokes the pages and scorches the mind’s eye with erotic imagery that will be hard to put aside. The book crackles with electricity and intensity which means that the first read is a breathless plunge to the final page, and the second time brings the all of the passion roaring to the surface.
I would give this book 10 roses if I could, but since I cannot, all I can say is “WOW!”
Julie Bonello at SingleTitles.com made me squee with:
Fans of JR Ward have a brand new writer to add to their auto-buy list – Sydney Croft. Exhilarating, erotic and engrossing, paranormal romance readers will not want to miss this sizzling debut!
Jennifer L. James-Montestruc at Book Fetish gave us 4.5/5 and says:
Yum. Just … yum.
If you want technical, I’ll say that there are very good descriptions throughout of various weather, especially of hurricanes, tornadoes, etc … and I’m a good authority on that as I live in Louisiana, and I’ve lived in the areas described in this book.
But what it comes down to is …
Go. Read.
Yayayayayay!
In other news, the not-so-fun kind, I lost my Warner editor (I'm still having problems calling it GCP…) The editor who bought my Demon ER series, Melanie Murray, has left to pursue her own writing career. I'll miss her. She was so enthusiastic about my writing, so I'm biting my nails in hopes that my new editor will connect with it as well.
Anyway, I hope you are getting off to a great week! What's on your plate this week?

I know it’s coming…
