6 Days To Release! (And The WM Party)
In six more days, Riding The Storm hits the shelves!!!! 
Yes, I'm a little excited. I just love these books. And I love the process of writing them. I especially love when Steph sends me scenes to read, because I have NO idea what she'll have written.
And actually, neither does she. As evidenced by this bit of a scene she sent to me yesterday. Keep in mind that this was in the ACTUAL scene she sent me to read (book 3, Seduced By The Storm.) It starts out with the hero talking to the heroine about what's going on in the book, but it quickly degenerates…
"Ah, babe, don't tell me you really do work for Itor. I'm into you and I don't want to have to snap your neck because you're working for my arch enemy."
"I'm a free agent – I own my own agency. Blacksomething, like my last name. Steph can't remember anything."
"Dude, I know. She's lucky she remembers my name half the time. But that's not important now."
"She doesn't even know the point of this scene," Faith said, but that didn't deter Wyatt.
The scene then continues like nothing ever happened. Sometimes, just to make things fun, we accidentally leave stuff like this in the final draft for our saintly editor to catch. Which she does, with lots and lots of question marks. She wants to beat us, I'm sure.
