Feel Left Out?
Because you aren't going to Nationals?
Well, Romance Divas is going to have their first annual “Not Going to Nationals Cyber Conference” from July 11-15. There will be giveaways, Q&A, and workshops…and it's all free. Some of the workshops and Q&A sessions look AMAZING. You don't want to miss it!
For more info, check out Angeleque's blog.
And don't forget to sign up for the 70 Days of Sweat! Don't think you can do it? Check out Alison's blog post today. And then check Steph's blog for how she manages to write despite all she has going on. (Check back if she hasn't posted yet!)
It might not be easy–I'm a little freaked out myself. But then I remember back before my son was in school, when my husband would be gone for weeks at a time and I was working 50 hours a week — midnights — and still managing to write. Truth is, I actually wrote more and got more done around the house even though I was much busier and much more tired. Why? Because since writing time was so scarce that I MADE time. I wrote on little scratch pads if I didn't have a computer handy. I talked into the tape recorder on the way to work. I put my son in front of the TV to watch Blue's Clues and spent that half hour going full tilt on my writing. I wrote at work.
Now, I'm much more likely to say, "well, I'll write later…"
This challenge is coming at exactly the right time. We've got a 100k single title due September 25th, a 30K novella due August 15th, and we both have revisions, galleys, and proposals to write up.
So go sign up for the challenge. You might just surprise yourself!

I’m going to live in fear the entire time. :???: OMG, one can only hope that I can keep up with it. *crossing fingers*
