This is such amazing news for not only author Peggy Webb, but for the romance/women's fiction genre.
In case you haven't heard, Peggy Webb's Harlequin Next, Driving Me Crazy, was just nominated for a Pulitzer.

Not to rain on anyone’s parade but I looked into this for verification and could find none on the Pulitzer site.
Apparently there’s a common misconception about “nominees”. Anyone can nominate a novel (or article, etc.) by filling out the required paperwork. However, the Pulitzer comitted only recognizes 2 or 3 “nominated finalists” as actually in the running to be the winner. Needless to say, if you check their archives, these are always highly literary works of fiction and not genre/mass-market works.
No disparagement to Ms. Webb, but I don’t think she is a nominated finalist, but rather that her book was submitted by herself or Harlequin for this award.
