In case any of you haven't noticed, I'm a serious animal lover. Yeah, it's a shock, I know.

And because I'm an animal lover, I have very strong views on animal rights and animal cruelty. For the most part, I'm a middle-of-the-road person, able to see both sides of any argument–any argument EXCEPT those that have to do with animals. I tend to stand very firm on certain issues, and it has caused tension in relationships in the past, as well as recently.

One of my big issues is bloodsport. I'm not talking about hunting–I'm talking about killing animals for entertainment. Bull fighting, dog fighting, cockfighting. Hunting for reasons other than food.

But don't let it be said that I don't have a sense of humor–because I find the following quote to be extremely funny. :mrgreen:
