Yesterday I got a whole bunch of spam via my contact form. All in English. I think.
From Prosto: By all hi! Good day! =)
From Ochen: Hi As to me to adjust correctly time on my computer?
From Serg: Hi! And who saw such
Good ole Stif says: As in your guestbook to include support html?
And last but not least, Artemiy said: Tell, and here at you always so?
Yes, spam is so effective when it's complete gibberish. I here vanilla classic kitty! As book plastic you group!
So there. Visit my links, because clearly, they must be great if my spam doesn't make sense.
P.S.–for something that DOES make sense, go check out Writeminded's February contest!

I hate spam, too, but it CAN be remarkably amusing.

I agree with Teresa. Spam is the work of the devil! TG I have a good spam blocker, so not too much gets through.

Filthy spammers. We hateses them.
This is my favorite, though:
A long time ago I had an e-mail account through company Foo. I left Foo for a different company, but before leaving, set up a forward…so any mail coming to pj@foo.com would go to my new account. Foo has since then been bought and sold several times - with different names, and so on - and yet - I still get mail for pj@foo.com. It’s like there’s a haunted server or something! LOL! And it’s all spam, too. So, I just filter it out of my main inbox.
Still - it seems even the death of an Internet provider cannot stop the spam. Beware…..

I get a lot of those in my blog comments, too. Luckily, my spam killers take care of them before they ever get posted. They are amusing, though.

Spam is SO the work of the devil.
Unfortunately, much of mine comes through my contact form, so it can’t be filtered out. Bastards. But as Lynn says, they are amusing!
