Yesterday I jumped into NaNo like a madwoman. And I wrote twelve–TWELVE!–pages. In 4 hours. It's a record for me. I'm SO excited. Today I'm dying to write, but unfortunately, I have to drive a bazillion miles to the Navy base today (I can buy more MREs! 
) and that'll take up most of my day. I'm going to try to get a couple of pages in when I get back before I pick up my son from school.
Still…this is the first story I've been excited about in a while, and hopefully I can keep up the enthusiasm, as well as the pace. Is anyone else making progress on their WIPs?

I’m glad you’re feeling excited about the story — that’s the wonderful thing about NaNo, I think; we get excited about what we’re writing while racing for that deadline.
