Larissa's Blog
Monday, December 7th, 2009
I did something like this last year on my Myspace page (which I haven't updated in months, ack!) and had almost forgotten that I wanted to do it again this year, but my high school classmate, author Lisa Schroeder, is doing something similar, and it reminded me!
Anyway, Demonica books make a great Christmas gift! So…if you plan to give any Demonica books as Christmas gifts, shoot me an email (larissaione@gmail.com) or use the contact form see above the blog where it says "contact") on my website, and I'll send a personalized bookplate and bookmark for you to give with the book!
Just tell me who to sign it to (sorry, but I can't send generic-signed bookplates,) and I'll pop it in the mail, along with a bookmark for you, as well.
Offer good until Friday!
P.S. — at this time I'm ONLY sending to people who request them because they are giving the books as gifts! Apologies, but I'm short on time and getting flooded with personal requests. I WILL shortly be posting an address that you can send a SASE to in order to get bookmarks and bookplates for yourself, so for now, if you would like bookplates addressed to YOU, please be patient!

Making this short and sweet! Mainly because I'm currently deeply involved in the world of Dragon Age Origins, where I'm battling demons, undead, and huge, scary beasts. Naturally, all this fighting requires concentration, so that's pretty much all I've been doing for, um, days.
I'm battle-weary, covered in blood and gore, and drunk on watery ale, but my party and I are still alive. Barely.
Anyway, on to more pleasant, real-world things…
I'm over at Tigris Eden's with an interview! Plus, one commenter wins the entire set of the first three Demonica books, so if you haven't read them, or want to give a set away as a gift, head on over!
Also, I got great news today! Pleasure Unbound has just gone back for it's fourth printing! Woo hoo! Thanks to everyone who has bought these books — writing them has been a dream, and hearing from readers who have enjoyed them has been icing on the cake. Y'all rock!!!!

Woo hoo! Got a cover, got cover copy…all set!
EXTREME HEAT. EXTREME HUNGER.
A JUNGLE EDEN ABLAZE WITH TEMPTATION.
Shockwaves shoot through the Agency for Covert Rare Operatives (ACRO) when horrific video surfaces from the Brazilian rain forest. A team of Navy SEALs has been nearly wiped out by something sinister and superhuman. Now ACRO agents Sela Kahne and Marlena West head to the world’s most unforgiving jungle in pursuit of a mythical monstrosity with a taste for human blood. And the only path that will take them to the creature runs through two men, each hiding his own dark secret.
Sela is an expert on cryptozoology with a sideline skill that could prove invaluable: when she makes love to a man, she engulfs his innermost thoughts. Teamed with Marlena, Sela makes contact with the lone SEAL survivor, Chance McCormack. Meanwhile Logan Mills, the man who rescued Chance, leads his private company on a hunt that has nothing to do with saving lives. Soon, Sela will put her supernatural charms to work on Logan, determined to extract information about the creature they are seeking. But in this sweat-drenched realm of danger and deception, Logan is more than just a passive target. He has the power to lead a highly-trained seducer into a jungle without any rules, without any limits—and no end to the heat.

Welcome to my new website! Okay, same website, same basic theme. But it's obviously had a bit of a facelift to brighten things up and make it easier to navigate…mainly, I needed it because as I added more books (I didn't exactly plan for a lot of books!) and more content, things began to get unwieldy.
So now, I have a shiny new (sort of) look, and I want to celebrate by giving stuff away! First, feel free to take a look around! I've got updated pages and brand new content, like deleted scenes and a For Readers page, where I've posted pictures people have sent of fun stuff like tattoos (there's more to come on that page, so check back often!)
And for the giveaways, I've got some really fun stuff…books, gift certificates, and HEOFON, the necklace Serena wears in Passion Unleashed (and which Kynan inherits.) The amulet is handmade, not done on a production line, and is just gorgeous in person, so you'll have your own little piece of "Heaven."
So let's go over the prizes and rules (bleh, rules.)
Grand Prize: Signed set of all three Demonica books, plus Pleasure Unbound in Japanese, plus The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2, plus HEOFON, plus a demon duckie and assorted goodies.
Second Prize: The Gritty Prize Pack–Insatiable Desire, by Rita Herron, Blue Diablo, by Ann Aguirre, Red, by Jordan Summers, If Angels Burn, by Lynn Viehl, Taming The Fire, by Sydney Croft
Third Prize: $10 Gift Certificate to Amazon
Fourth Prize: Riding Wild, by Jaci Burton
Okay, prizes listed, now for how to win said prizes. There are two ways — do both, and you'll be entered in the contest twice (or more)!
1. Poke around the website and tell me what you think; did you like any of the new content? Which of the deleted scenes did you like best? Which tattoo? Just leave a comment below.
2. Put the Ecstasy Unveiled widget/sprout (to the right) on your Myspace page, website, blog, Facebook…anywhere! Each place you install it counts as an entry. Just make sure you come back here to leave a comment and link so I know where you put the widget!
That's it! Pretty easy, yes? And did you check out the cover for the Japanese version of Pleasure Unbound? I love it…and the fact that the title is spelled "Preasure Unbound" is just precious.
Thanks for stopping by my new website, everyone! I'm VERY excited about it. Oh, and contest ends August 31st. Winners will be announced September 1st!

Is at Romancing The Blog! I'd love it if y'all came to visit me there!
Feeling a little better today. I spent yesterday sleeping. My husband is sick, too, so he stayed home from work, and we spent a nice, romantic day groaning, coughing, and blowing our noses together. We'd planned to go to Busch Gardens, but that didn't work out so well.
