Happy March, everyone!
I got up to some cold weather and snow in the forecast! I'm so excited! We're supposed to get at least two inches, but here's where my personal and professional (meteorology) experience comes in to play: We won't get it. We'll get snow, but no more than an inch, if that. And it'll be mostly gone by the next day.
I swear, when we move to Wisconsin, I'll take with me my bad-snow-luck, and WI will see the least amount of snow they've had in centuries. You'll see. *whines*
And speaking of snow, through the month of March, you can get Pleasure Unbound in ebook format for only $1!!! What does that have to do with snow, you ask? Nothing. I'm too tired to come up with a transition.
So anyway, check out your favorite ebook stores for Pleasure Unbound. Disclaimer: Not all stores will be offering for a buck, so if one doesn't have it, try another.
And stay tuned, because I've got a contest starting soon! (Tomorrow, if I can get my act together in time!)

DESIRE UNCHAINED IS OUT TODAY!!!!
Yes, I'm a little excited. I love all my sexy little demon dudes, but each in a different way. With Shade, I always saw the potential in him to be a nurturing, caring guy, and it was fun bringing that out in him. And now he's on the shelves and ready to go home with you! *g*
And speaking of demons, I got the most FABULOUS 4 1/2 star review for Wraith's book, Passion Unleashed, from Romantic times yesterday:
"The third book in Ione's supercharged Demonica series ignites on the first page and never looks back. Extreme bad boy Wraith is front and center and, man, is his life screwed up. It takes a special heroine to deal with this antihero, and Ione has created one! with all the previous players back for this apocalyptic adventure, action and danger leap off every page. The best of the series to date!"
Yay!!!
Have a great day, everyone!!!!

I haven't updated my website with them yet, but I've just gotten some awesome reviews for Desire Unchained! I'm all wiggly and happy! *g*
From Fallen Angel Reviews:
"First off, I have to say that I absolutely love this book. Larissa Ione has become one of my favorite authors, and I crave for more of her books. The first book in her Demonica series was fantastic, and this is one even better… I wish I could go back and read Desire Unchained again for the first time. It was just that good. In a world overflowing with paranormal romance, Larissa Ione has gone straight to the top with this series, and I am anxious for the next one." — 5/5 — a Recommended Read
From SingleTitles.com:
"Emotional intensity is the driving force behind every Larissa Ione book. Scenes may be packed with suspenseful peril or steamy passions or even quick humor and clever banter, yet it is the emotions behind the reactions of the characters which really grab the reader. There are a myriad of potent feelings displayed all throughout DESIRE UNCHAINED, and each one is shown with believable realism. Whether the scene contains terrifying physical threats or uncontrollable desires, the characters respond plausibly in both thought and deed. The depth of sentiments depicted by the many characters in this story will cause the reader to be profoundly affected, often on numerous levels at once… When it comes to the sensuous aspects of this story, Ms. Ione makes every instant rousing yet also filled with sincerity…DESIRE UNCHAINED is imaginatively riveting with its noteworthy and creative supernatural premise plus memorable characters." — 5/5
YAY!!!! Only 5 more days until Shade is haunting the shelves…

Just wanted to thank everyone who entered the contest yesterday!
The signing went well…got to catch up with Michelle and Marliss, and Ann showed up to keep us company too!
Today I'm finishing up the 5th Croft book to turn in tomorrow, and then I need to concentrate on the Mammoth book story and a proposal for the 6th Croft book. I'm SO excited to begin the final book in the ACRO world. We've got a very special story planned, one that ties everything together and is full of surprises. It's going to be a lot of fun.
I should have revisions coming soon for the 4th Demonica book too, and though I don't normally look forward to revisions, I have to say that my editor is just brilliant, and her suggestions always energize me and help steer me in directions I might not have seen before. Plus, I really enjoy the Demonica world, so diving back in is always fun.
Speaking of diving in, I need to get back to it. Have a nice weekend, everyone!

A long time ago, I swore I would get a tattoo when I became a published author. But not just any tattoo…I wanted a tattoo I could relate to my book(s). When Stephanie and I sold the Sydney Croft series, I thought about maybe a lightning bolt. But for some reason, that just didn't work for me. So then I thought about the symbol that Haley and Remy (h/h of Riding The Storm,) have tattooed on their bodies. But by the time I started thinking seriously about that, I'd sold my Demonica series.
The Demonica series, for those who don't know, is set in and around an underworld hospital run by vampires, demons, and werewolves. Naturally, and hospital run by these types of beings aren't going to be using the human medical symbol — I mean, it has angel wings!
So I asked Justin Knupp of Stonecreekmedia to design something for me. He did, brilliantly, and then my publisher, Grand Central Publishing, was wonderful, and they agreed to use the symbol on the books. So last July, I did it. I got the tattoo.
Of course, nothing can go right with me, and my skin didn't take the ink well, so I had to go back for touchups because the ink kept coming out. It still could use touchups because of two bare spots and a bleed (I really have funky skin,) but I finally took pictures of it.
I've also gotten photos from readers who have gotten the tattoo, and I'll be putting a web page up with those pics soon. But for now, here's mine!

And I know I mentioned it in an early post, but check back in tomorrow for a heads' up on a fun Valentine's Day event!

So this morning I get up to discover that PLEASURE UNBOUND has been nominated as 2008′s Best Paranormal of the Year over at Romance Novel TV! Not by just one reviewer, but two!!!! (I just want to hug Kati and Marisa!) I can't believe the company I'm in over there — JR Ward, Nalini Singh, Kresley Cole, Meljean Brook, Colleen Gleason, Christina Dodd…holy cow!!!
So head over to vote for your favorite of those mentioned in each category! They need your help. (I was also very excited to see buddies Sasha White, Eden Bradley, and Ann Aguirre nominated in their categories — congrats, ladies!)
Also, PLEASURE UNBOUND and SEDUCED BY THE STORM were announced at Literary Escapism as being in the Book Bloggers Top 10 of 2008 for the Paranormal Romance category! Yayayayay!
This has been just a FABULOUS year, and I want to thank everyone who has read my books, written to me, or just been my friend this year. I'm so very blessed.

This has been a seriously busy month for releases. I've talked about Jordan Summers, Jaci Burton, Maya Banks, and Michelle Willingham so far.
Today I'm talking about Alison Kent, HelenKay Dimon, and Meljean Brook.
First up, Meljean. For those who have been following the series, this is a must-read. Her books aren't "easy" reads…they're something you need to plan for. To set aside time for. Because once you get going, you're trapped in a world that has been so well developed that you can't get out.
In Demon Bound, you won't want to get out. 'Cuz Jake is hot.
So check it out…if you haven't read Meljean Brooks, I highly recommend that you start with Demon Angel. And if you've read any of her other books, well, I'm wasting my breath because you've already bought Demon Bound.
Also releasing this month, HelenKay Dimon's Hot As Hell. Isn't that cover great? I love blue!!!!
HelenKay writes smart, hot, and tight. No, I haven't read this one yet, but it's on its way from Amazon. I expect it to be like other HelenKay Dimon stories, which means there will be razor-sharp humor sprinkled into the prose — as well as lots of steam. HelenKay is one of my favorite authors — even if she wasn't so talented, she's just…nice. Love her!
Now, if you like Harlequin Blazes, you'll love Alison Kent's November release, Kiss and Tell. Have you read an Alison Kent book? She's fabulous! Like Meljean and HelenKay, Alison writes with a lot of detail and attention to craft. Intelligent writing and deep emotion are the hallmarks of an Alison Kent book, and you can also usually find lots of strong girlfriend bonds in the books. Check it out!
Okay, enough gushing for the day. I have to write. (I also have some news that I'll be sharing soon! *g*)
Happy Thursday, everyone!
