Taking a break from move stuff to do a little work on my website before my internet shuts off next week (I'm going to suffer serious withdrawals,) and wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I've just posted an excerpt for my short story, Eternity Embraced, which will appear in the Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2.

You know, books are like kids — you don't want to pick a favorite. You love them all, but for different reasons. I love Pleasure Unbound because it was my first solo single title. And I love Eidolon. I love Desire Unchained because I really liked Runa, and I loved the dynamic between her and Shade, and I loved the darkness in the book.
But Passion Unleashed is special. Wraith was always the most fun to write, and his book was no exception. It was hard too, but that only made the finished product more rewarding. I'm very pleased with Wraith's story, and I hope you like it as much as I do!
I got up to some cold weather and snow in the forecast! I'm so excited! We're supposed to get at least two inches, but here's where my personal and professional (meteorology) experience comes in to play: We won't get it. We'll get snow, but no more than an inch, if that. And it'll be mostly gone by the next day.
I swear, when we move to Wisconsin, I'll take with me my bad-snow-luck, and WI will see the least amount of snow they've had in centuries. You'll see. *whines*

Yes, I'm a little excited. I love all my sexy little demon dudes, but each in a different way. With Shade, I always saw the potential in him to be a nurturing, caring guy, and it was fun bringing that out in him. And now he's on the shelves and ready to go home with you! *g*
