Win Stephanie Tyler’s Newest!

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

My Sydney Croft writing partner, Stephanie Tyler, has a new release coming out on Tuesday! It's her latest romantic suspense, In The Air Tonight, and folks, you want it!

Like hot military guys? Right…that's an obvious yes! So you'll love Mace. Just the blurb on the back of the book does it for me: "Stone cold warrior." YUM. As with any of Stephanie's books, expect steam, an action-packed roller-coaster ride of emotion, and a sexy alpha male who will make you weak in the knees.

Because here's the thing: Steph writes the best heroes, and Cael (short for Caleb,) is no exception. He's one of the subplot heroes, and like Mace, he's protective, dangerous, and sporting the usual Tyler yum factor. If you haven't read Stephanie Tyler outside of Sydney Croft, now's your chance.

So check out the blurb, and enter the contest to win one of two copies below:

With danger closing in, all they have is each other.

Haunted by a mission he barely survived, Delta Force operative Mace Stevens still carries a soldier’s burden. Running a small bar in upstate New York, he remains a stone cold warrior who guards dangerous secrets and stays ready for anything. Anything except beautiful, vulnerable Paige Grayson, who shows up at his door, demanding answers about her heroic stepbrother’s death under his command.

Paige bears burdens, too. She’s plagued by demons unleashed by an older brother who committed mass murder before her eyes. But here in this snowy haven with Mace, she almost feels safe from the menacing promises of her insane sibling. As a nurse whose hands can read the deepest thoughts of anyone she touches, Paige knows Mace needs her as desperately as she needs him. And when a faceless killer begins unleashing fresh terror, Mace proves just how far he will go to save the woman who means everything to him.

Want it? Just hop over to Steph's website and tell me which of her covers is your favorite. Two winners will have their choice of a print copy (open internationally,) or Kindle copy (US only.)

This is a 24-hour contest. Winners will be announced Monday at noon CST, so be sure to check back!

Contest Winners!

Sunday, July 10th, 2011

Thanks to everyone for contributing to my "working title" contest for Reseph's book! OMG, I absolutely LOVE so many of the suggestions! Some cracked me up — Toxic Rider, Endemic Rider, Infectious Rider, Septic Rider…LOL!

I'll probably go with one of the funny ones as a working title, but there are some AWESOME serious ones. I'm saving the post to send to my editor so we can go over the suggestions. I have a few favorites, so we'll see if any make it to the final book!

Okay, so the winners of the excerpt booklet, Samhain GC, and various goodies, chosen by Random.org are:

Amy Bruckart, comment #79
Shanna, comment #160
Janet, comment #218

Congrats, ladies! Please email me at larissaione AT gmail.com with your mailing address!

If you didn't win, there will be more opportunities coming up!

Wanna Win Stuff?

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

Okay, so I turned in my copyedits, updated my website, and before I dive into Lethal Rider to finish it, I'm putting up a contest!

Three winners will receive:

A signed copy of the Taste of Darkness excerpt booklet, which includes the first 3 chapters of Immortal Rider, a Samhain gift card that'll buy you a free book (thanks, Samhain!) a swag of some sort (it may be a jar opener, post-it pad, etc.) and a set of Demonica gift cards made by KLB Virtual Events and Designs (there's even a special "Demon Juice" card!)

Trivia: Remember when I showed you the pics from the Immortal Rider cover shoot? Well, the cover from Taste of Darkness was taken from that shoot! If you look close at the TOD cover and Immortal Rider covers, you can see that it's the same couple.

Okay, so how do you enter to win? Well, I need a working title for the fourth book in the Lords of Deliverance series, so just leave a comment with your suggestion. It'll be Reseph's book (who is the Horseman known as Pestilence,) and the title must be "Something" Rider.

Random.org will select three winners at random on Sunday. Good luck!

(CONTEST IS CLOSED)

Contest Winners!

Monday, April 18th, 2011

Thanks so much to everyone who entered the contest for the books by Laura Wright, Michelle Willingham, and Amy Knupp!

Also, because my wording in my original post was confusing, some people chose Eternal Rider as an option, so I'm throwing that in as a prize for those who picked it before I fixed the post…so we have an extra winner!

I made my son handle the picks through Random.org (it was good for him,) so here they are:

Claimed by the Highland Warrior: Diane Sallans

Eternal Kiss: Jessica N

Burning Ambition: Theresa G

Eternal Rider: Linda Townsend

Tote bag: Infiniteh

Winners, please email me at larissaione AT gmail DOT com with your mailing addresses. Thanks again, everyone!!!

Operation Auction and Contest!!!

Friday, April 15th, 2011

Hi everyone!

First, a quick note about Operation Auction — thanks again to everyone who participated! Now that RT is over, things should move a little faster, so if you were a winner and haven't heard anything since the auction, please rest assured that your money was received and your information sent to the donor. I would say that if you haven't heard from anyone by around the 25th or so, let one of us know and we'll do a quick check to see what's up.

Now, onto my contest!

There are a bunch of releases this month, and I'm going to give you a chance to win one of three.

First up, Michelle Willingham's Claimed By The Highland Warrior. Medieval romance is what got me into romance in the first place, and though I've gotten away from it, I always read Michelle's books. Love them! Here's the blurb:

Scotland, 1305
Bram MacKinloch has spent seven long, torturous years in captivity with only three things to keep him alive—pure brute strength, a thirst for revenge and the memory of his pretty wife’s face.

Shock is only one of the emotions coursing through Nairna’s body when she sees Bram again. His scars tell of suffering, the hunger in his eyes speak of a burning desire so raw it could consume them both. But a lot has changed since they so innocently wed….

*

Next up, Amy Knupp's Burning Ambition. Amy is a fellow member of Writeminded, and a friend who recently moved to Wisconsin, so now I get to stalk her in person instead of just online! Woo hoo! Ahem. Anyway, her newest firefighter (yum) book is out, and you don't want to miss it. She might write for the Superromance line, which tends to be on the less steamy side, but as I like to tell her, I can read the cursing between the lines (if you knew Amy, you'd understand! *g*) Here's the blurb:

Captain Joe Mendoza has wanted to be fire chief since he was four years old. And now he's one step away from making assistant chief. But that's proving to be one big step now that the chief's daughter has joined his crew. He's promised he'll keep her safe — and promised himself to keep things strictly business.

Faith Peligni has battled her way back from an on-the-job injury in San Antonio, and she's stronger than ever. Even if as the first female firefighter on the San Amaro Island crew — and the chief's daughter — she's expecting some heat. But with the impossibly distracting Joe Mendoza as her captain, who knew it could get this hot?

*

Your next choice is Eternal Kiss, by Laura Wright. Her first book in the Mark of the Vampire series made a big splash, and how can you not love those covers? For some reason, the fence thing really gets me. LOVE the barbed wire. I wonder what they'll do for the next book…

Raised by the Breed, Nicholas Roman wants to stop the Eternal Order of Vampires from controlling his life, and using other males from his bloodline-including possibly his son-for their vicious reign. Only a beautiful vampire stranger can help him. But what are her true motives?

Okay, so how to enter the contest? Well, I'm easy. Just tell me which of the three books listed by Michelle, Amy, or Laura you want to win, and list a second choice, as well. See, easy? Also, Michelle and Laura will both send signed bookplates to the winner, and Laura will include a set of trading cards!

One random winner will also win a Demonica/Larissa Ione tote bag!

Contest is open to everywhere The Book Depository will ship, and winner will be posted on Monday, so please check back to see if you won.

Have a great weekend!

P.S. don't forget to pick up Eternal Rider at your local book store!

Eternal Rider Hit The Lists, Baby!

Friday, April 8th, 2011

WOO HOO!!!!!

So, because of you awesome reader peeps, Eternal Rider hit the big three lists: #44 on the USA Today, #13 on Publisher's Weekly, and #15 on the New York Times (as well as #35 on the NYT combined/ebook list)! YAY!!!!

I gotta say, I was really, really terrified about this release. The Demonica series did so well that I was kind of afraid to go someplace new, even if the Lords of Deliverance series was set in the same world. But I'd had these Horsemen in my head for years, and they were bugging me to tell their stories. I also didn't want the Demonica books to go until they ran out of steam, and wanted to leave off on a high note. That doesn't mean there won't be more…just that I needed to take this detour for a while.

So thank you, thank you! Thanks to everyone who has supported me and my books, and who went out to spend their hard-earned money on Eternal Rider! You're awesome!

And now I just want to shout out to the last day of the Demonica/Lords of Deliverance even on As The Pages Turn.

Today is "Get to know the Horsemen" day, but be sure to hit up the other two days of blog posts too. Leave comments and tweet and stuff to be eligible to win signed copies of Eternal Rider, Swag, and the grand prize of the ENTIRE Demonica series, signed, plus swag.

Oh, and also…Eternal Rider is now available in audio format, so those who have been waiting — it's up, and so is Eternal Rider in ebook format for the UK and Commonwealth countries. So if you've been waiting to get it on your Kindle, it should be available in a LOT of international locations!

And be sure to check out Pickyme's site — she did the awesome Ares/Battle wallpaper you see above in this post. You can grab it for yourself!

Thanks again, everyone!!!!

Blog Tour Kickoff!

Monday, April 4th, 2011

Hi everyone!

I'm on "tour" this week, so there are a lot of poor bloggers who are stuck with me for a day. At some blogs there are reviews, at others, Q&A's, others doing features. But all will have giveaways, so be sure to hit them all! (P.S: My publisher is supplying the books, so they won't be signed, and they are open to US/Can only for the same reason.)

Here's today's list:

Q & A and giveaway at Red Hot Books, where you might get a little insight into what I'm planning for Reaver, and the thin thread that keeps me from turning into crazy Cat Lady…

Q&A and giveaway at Michelle and Leslie's Book Picks — find out where I'd tour in the Demonica world and what Ares has on his iPod!

Review and Five Fun Facts and giveaway at One Book Shy of a Full Shelf

Review and giveaway at The Book Girl

Review and giveaway at Love To Read For Fun

Giveaway at Just Another Blog

Giveaway at Bookhounds

Giveaway at Simply Stacie

There will be more, but the posts aren't up yet.

ALSO, as a celebration for Eternal Rider's release, Eternity Embraced is on sale for .99 cents everywhere it's sold! Links on the book's page!
