Twenty More Days!

I'm getting excited! Only twenty more days until Sin Undone releases, and I got an awesome review from Romantic Times:

"Fans of the Demonica series finally get their wish! It’s time for Sin, a seminus demon with a wicked mouth, a nasty profession, a hidden heart of gold and a need for … well, sex, to get her story. She finally meets her match and it’s a wicked ride. Tense, sexy and touching, only Ione can blend such feelings into a comprehensive and complicated story. There’s a lot going on here but Ione pulls it off, giving readers another truly great read." — 4 1/2 Stars!

In other news, I'm still working on revisions to Eternal Rider…I'm getting SO close. Right now the major stuff is done and I just need to go through and fix all the Swiss cheese holes and do some layering. I'm hoping to be able to get it to my editor on Friday afternoon.

Haven't had time for reading, but I've got a gob of books just waiting for me as treats…the new Cynthia Eden, Gena Showalter, Elisabeth Naughton, Amy Knupp…yeah, I have some heavy-duty reading to do coming up, not to mention snapping up the upcoming new releases from Kresley Cole, Ann Aguirre, Lara Adrian, Jaci Burton, Shiloh Walker…man, I just hope I can find time to write! *g*

What about you? What book are you loving right now?

    Let the countdown begin……

I can’t even begin to put into words how excited I am for Sin’s book. Kindle is charged and just awaiting the arrival.

I am just finishing up (book 9/final book) the Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur. After Sin it looks like I might be tackling Sherrilyn Kenyon’s massive Dark Hunter series.

    • Kristy says:

Kim620 – Good Luck with the Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter Series. I have a friend who is tackling that series and she says although it is good it is very daunting. You will need a lot of time and also pen and paper to keep track of all the characters.

      • Kim620 says:

Check on the pen and paper. I will prob nerd out and make an excel spreadsheet. I had to do that with Gena Showalter’s “Lords” series.

        • brieva13 says:

lol I have basicly all the books in bothe the Dark-Hunter Series and the Lords of the Underworld series. its really not hard to keep track of the characters they return through-out the series and if you need to re-fresh go to Sherrilyn Kenyon’s web page there is a place for the characters. its a big help =) Adore all 3 series(Dark-hunter, Lords/underworld, Demonica) Right now obsessing over Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series looking for Broken Just finished Haunted

    • Carrie says:

For the Dark-hunter series (its amazing) make sure you at least take a look at the dark-hunter companion or her website becuase she tries to help with the large amounts of details. I am sure if the demonica series gets any bigger I will have to do the same thing!

    • Heather Rich says:

You will not be disappointed with the Dark Hunter series!!

Hey Larissa, I am sort of chomping at the bit for Sin’s book. There are many people out there waiting for it. People were talking about it at Nationals last week too. You do have a lot of heavy hitters lined up. Happy reading…you can always take a breath to right, then go back in.

I am actually doing some reads of Hqn Intrigue’s right now…Jessica Andersen’s Bear Claw Creek Crime Lab series. They are awesome!!!! Brenda Novak’s White Heat as well as Carly Phillips’ Kiss Me if You Can. They are both the first book in a new series, but I can’t wait. I will just have to read them again when the other book comes out at the end of the month. You should add Leslie Parrish’s Cold Sight to your list. It is a phenomenal read!

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

I can’t wait for Sin. I SO love your books. I give them away all the time and am constantly replacing them in my collection.
Like you, I have a huge backlog of books awaiting me. Right now I’m trying to read my eARC of Rachel Vincent’s APLHA. Difficult because I don’t have an e-reader yet and have to find time to sit at my desk top to read. So far it’s fantastic.

  5. Tami says:

First of all, I just wanted to say I’m glad everything worked out and your family issues are cleared up for the most part. Secondly, I am soooo excited for this book! I’ve been waiting awhile and I know it’ll be as good if not better than the other 4!!

Right now I’m reading a bunch of different authors. One of my absolute favorites is Jeaniene Frost who just released her Cat & Bones spinoff book Eternal Kiss of Darkness… can’t wait to get started! Another fav is Alexandra Ivy which I just finished her Beyond the Darkness book. It was an adventurous read as with all of her books. I can’t wait for the new books by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kresley Cole, and of course yours!!

    Have a great day :D

  6. Taleka says:

Hello – I just wanted to add that I am excited for Sin Undone – I love Eddie, Shade and Wraith and I know that Sin’s story will be just as awesome!

Right now I am reading two series. The first of course is your Sydney Croft series. I just started Riding The Storm and all I have to say is Damn…what a great book. I know the rest will be just a hot, steamy and full of great plots just like this one.

The second series I’m reading is by Rhyannon Byrd – The Primal Instinct Series. She just released #4 & #5 from this series with #6 scheduled for Fall. It is really a great read.
I also have Lara Adrian and Stella Cameron waiting in the wing for me.

So much to read so little time ;)

  8. Willa says:

I especially love Ani and Creed they need there own series at from now on I know she has issues but i think they can hold there own would love to see how this all turns out for them they are my fav ARCO couple…….

Just finished Taming the Fire… Great book, I wish the series could go on forever… Glad I had my Creed fix, can’t wait for last one (I want the book so much, but at the same time I’m sad that it’s going to be the last one   , maybe you girls could do a spin off with the England agency or something?)

  28. msred says:

I can’t wait for Sin. I just know her and Con are gonna be so freaking HOT together. i can’t wait for their story! In the meantime, I’ve been keeping busy reading Gena Showalter’s Tales of An Extra Ordinary Girl Series. The story is terrific and the characters are so cool. So is Jeri Smith-Ready’s WVMP Series. I just love the concept. I’ve also been reading Rachel Caine’s Weather Warden Series this summer. It’s a fun series too. Anticipating A LOT of good reads this year but Sin Undone is top on my list!!! I’m stoked beyond belief for her! She kicks ass.
