Awesomely Awesome

You know, any time anyone has something positive to say about my books, I'm thrilled. Beyond thrilled. But when authors whose work is simply amazing, authors who I go fangirl over, talk about my books, I'm floored. It means so much to have someone whose work you admire like your books.

I still feel so new at this, like I don't belong with the cool people who actually know what they're doing and seem to do it so effortlessly.

 One of those people is Gena Showalter, who talked about Ecstasy Unveiled on her blog today. (Congrats to Gena on her NYT and USA Today appearance with Twice as Hot!) I first found Gena's books when I read Savor Me Slowly, and I was sucked in by the amazing writing. Then I started reading her demons, and holy hot, Batman! OMG. Love. Just…love. And now she is showing off two new Lord of the Underworld covers that are simply gorgeous! Go check 'em out!

 Another one of those people is Lynn Viehl, who blew me away with her generosity right after hurricane Katrina. Not a single day goes by that I don't think about it, because the angel keychain she sent me holds my car keys, and the dictionary she sent to replace my destroyed sits beside me. She also sent me StarDoc, which blew me away with awesomeness. And then I started reading her Darkyn series, and damn…I fell into that world and stayed there for days after each book (not in a creepy insane alternate-reality way. I swear.)

Anyway, she posted about Ecstasy Unveiled and gave me all kinds of warm fuzzies…and she's also giving away copies of Lore's book, because she's generous like that. Truly, she amazes me. So please, hop over and say hi, and if you haven't tried her books, now's the time. She just started a spinoff series, and the first book, Shadowlight, is off-the-charts good.

Lynn is awesome like that…I love her, and her writing.

I haven’t read Gena Showalter simply because I’ve go why too much in my TBR right now to start yet another series but I plan to read her soon!

Loved Lore and I’ll have a review up sometime this month on my blog.

Congrats on all the positive press!

That is fantastic…to be honored by fellow authors. I adore Gena’s Lords of the Underworld series. Have no doubt….you belong with the cool people (as you put it) Congratulations and enjoy the ride……

I can understand how awesome you must feel to be honoured by fellow writers that you admire. But don’t sell yourself short. I’ve read Shade’s & Wraith’s books, still have both PU and EU to start. Last night I was up until 3 am finishing SC’s Unleashing the Storm because I couldn’t put it down. Ender, or my Tommy, is now my new book boyfriend. You definitely belong with the cool kids! And so does Stephanie!

I looove your books! I can’t wait for Sins book she is really a great character to look forward to. As far as my top favorite authors you are right up there with Gena Showalter, J.R. Ward, Kresley Cole, Karen Marie Moning, Laurell K. Hamilton, Yasmine Galenorn, Richelle Mead, etc. When I found your books I was soooo excited to find a new series that had fresh stories and awesome characters  you’re doing awesome Larissa
