It’s Demonica Week!

Welcome to Larissa's Life

Yay! DEMONS!!!!!!!

Larissa from Larissa's Life is hosting a week-long party dedicated to the Demonica series! How cool is that? There are a gob of neat prizes, some specifically for new readers, and some for established ones, so be sure to read the rules carefully. And then go back daily to comment on daily posts for more chances to win!

Click on the button at the top of the page, or click here to go to her blog and scroll down to the contest post. Hope to see you there!

In other news…well, there's pretty much no other news. I'm working on revisions to Sin Undone (I can't wait for you to read Ecstasy Unveiled so I can start talking a little more about Sin!) and trying to get the house back into shape after all the holiday craziness. And with all the snow, I can't believe how yucky the floors have gotten. The tile entryway is gritty with salt — so gross!

Other than that, not much going on. I'm getting ready to read Lara Adrian's newest, Shades of Midnight, and I'm super excited about that. The Alaska setting has me anxious to get cracking on it.

Have you read anything good lately? Getting ready to read something you hope will be good?

Okay, I'm outta here. Sin is getting cranky…

I already entered the contest. Got 100% on the quiz, I LOVE your demons! Have just started FALLEN by Lauren Kate and just finished BLACKLISTED by Gena Showalter. Next up is Shades of Midnight. Need some skin and lovin

  4. willa says:

Sob! International readers not eligible for Fab prizes. :yuck:

  5. larissa says:

Willa, I’m sorry  I just have so many contests going on, and not only does it get expensive (I just spent $45 sending a package to Australia, oy!) but since my mom mails half the prizes, I can’t do int’l for the ones she does since she can’t make it to the P.O. and has to mail from home. If not for her, I wouldn’t be able to do most of the contests because I don’t have time. It sucks, I know, but I do try to do international on some contests.

Hi Larissa – thankyou for taking the time to reply to my pithy comment!

I *totally* understand why there is a restriction – postage costs are a real pig. I was just grumpy (Monday morning & only 1 cup of coffee consumed!) and frustrated that I wouldn’t be able to take part in the competitions for the fab prizes because I live across the pond. Can you hear the violins playing in the background?? Sob!

Oh well – the quest for a demon duckie continues. Happy New Year and good luck with your Demonica week – I have no doubts it will be fab.

      • larissa says:

LOL — I absolutely understand the Monday morning, lack of coffee grumpiness! And I know you weren’t being seriously grumpy!

You’re on a demon duckie quest, huh? Well, there are some opportunities coming up…heh.

        • Willa says:

          Ooooh –

Oh – and you are not alone . . . posts do take a few minutes to cogitate/digest/appear!

  6. Daniela says:

I can’t wait to read the new demonica books… Just finished The Heart of Darkness, loved The Darkest Angel from Gena Showalter (any Lords material would do it for me… ).

  7. BarbaraV says:

I read “Shades of Midnight” it was pretty good.

  8. Alisha says:

I loved Shades of Midnight, but I must say the best reads of last week were Coming Undone by Lauren Dane and Too Hot to Hold by Stephanie Tyler. Loved Nick and Brody.

  9. Jennifer E says:

I loved Shades of Midnight…it was a wild ride. Congrats on your up-coming release. I know I can’t wait for Ecstasy Unveiled.

  10. BarbaraV says:

I have been searching the stores, sometimes I can find early copies hanging on the shelves but I haven’t been lucky yet with “Ecstasy Unveiled”, I think that is too early.

Thanks for stopping by, everyone!!! I’d reply to everyone individually, but it takes like, 3 minutes for each reply to load. Is it just me??? Argh!

Anyway, looks like many of us are reading the same thing! And every single one of the books listed is in my TBR pile (or I’ve already read it.)

    Y’all have awesome taste…

  16. Trish says:

I’m really excited about the next installment. I pre-ordered today! Thanks for being such a great author, I appreciate the escape!

  17. Amanda Lake says:

I am a Demonica superfan! I’m trying to enter the contest, but the quiz link doesn’t show up on my page.

    Can someone help me?

  18. larissa says:

Thanks, everyone! I hope you like Ecstasy Unveiled — I’m starting to get nervous!

Amanda, maybe try using another browser? Or adjust your browser settings to allow Flash? It’s showing up for me with Safari. What are you using?
