Every year I think back over the new things I fell in love with over the previous twelve months. Past lists have included butter bells, bag balm, frozen pizza, and UGGS. Anyway, here are the things I loved in 2009:
Snuggie – this is a recent acquisition…I just got it for Christmas. But I already love it! It’s surprisingly warm and soft.
iPod Nano – My iPod was on my 2007 list, but this year I got a new one. It’s shiny pink, and the new features like the video camera are just awesome. I LOVE my new iPod!
Sunbeam Electric Blanket – yeah, how sad is it to get excited about a bed blanket, but this is one of the dual control ones, so I can heat up my side of the bed and my husband doesn’t have to die of heat on his side. I love that!
GPS – I kept telling my husband that we didn’t need one. He bought one anyway. And guess what? Yeah, I’m eating crow (tofucrow, cuz of the vegetarian thing,) because I adore the little device. It’s so awesome to enter in an address and have it guide you right to your destination. It’s also great for looking up places to eat and shop, which has come in really handy now that we’re new to the area.
Just The Cheese Chips and Popcorn – OMG, it’s cheese! But crunchy! These little baked cheese rounds and nuggets are pure cheese (some with flavorings) so they’re low-carb and just totally yum. The popcorn cheese is phenomenal.
Okay, so that’s it for this year. Is there anything you got, used, or ate in 2009 that has become a “favorite thing?”
Having found your books is one of my favorite things this year along with my “dressy” high UGGS (Just LOVE them!).
While it’s nothing I “got” per se… I think Twitter is my favorite new thing (for me) for 2009. It’s been a way for me to link up with other people who share similar interests. Also, it’s a great way to connect with some of my favorite authors!! I love it. Happy New Year!!
Hey, I got a hot pink iPod Nano this year too! I got the 4th generation model, though, so no video camera.
2009 was a real acquisition year, got a new laptop, Kindle2, and a Palm TX. Love all 3 of them so far. Got a ton of books and have really enjoyed reading new authors this year.
OMG, Larissa…I have to tell you about my Lhasa Tobey and the Bag Balm. Or better yet, have Alyx send you a vid of it~~ it’s one of the funniest things you’ve EVAH seen. He LIKES bag balm…ALOT. A WHOLE lot, lol.
Hmmm…my fav new thing this year would have to be my Blackberry. Not quite sure how I functioned w/out it before. I LOVE getting my emails, even though I’m still learning about the whole return thing, lol. And I have discovered Bread & Butter pickles this year…I would never eat them before, only Dill…they are the bomb!! My new snack!!
The cheese… Why oh why did I have to click on that?? I’m addicted to cheese and now I’m going to have to see where I can get some of this stuff.
My favorite new thing is WriteWay Pro!! My mom bought it for me for Christmas.
Well, i started reading again after 10 years of not picking up anything and i will tell you i have read over 200 books this year. Both of your series have made it to the pile and i love them. my fav thing this year has been all that reading, but mostly how every author i have emailed with ?’s and comments have responded and been so super sweet. Lara Adrian, Shayla Black, Alyssa Day, Monica McCarty, Pamela Palmer just to name a few. it’s jsut so cool to be able to talk with you about something that i love and it makes it all the better that you guys (authors) are the ones who came up with all the ideas. i am totally rambling here, i think i should stop

One of my favorite new things are your Demonica series!! My husband bought me all of them for Christmas – yes he walked through Borders carrying paranormal romance – and I am devouring them!!!! So thanks so much for giving me hours of entertainment!!!!
And I have UGG clogs, they are soooo warm!!!
