LUGGAGE!!!!

It finally arrived! OMG, we finally have clothes!!!

Apparently, our luggage never left Newport News. My son and I flew to Portland, but the luggage stayed behind. The airline people found it, called to tell me, said it would go out on the next flight to Portland.

That was two days ago.

They lost it AGAIN.

Man, what a pain. But it was finally found…again…and they delivered it. YAY!

I'm still never flying again. Well, after the flight I'll need to take to get home, anyway! :)

Whoo-hoo we got luggage! Goodness your poor luggage! Well glad you finally got your stuff maybe late but at least it didn’t disappear into luggage heaven! Hope things are less crazy!

    Hugs,
    Ing

    What a relief!
I hope the journey home is 1,000,000 times smoother!

  3. Carry-on luggage. That’s all I gotta say.

Yikes, woman! I mean, I’m glad you got your luggage now but man!!! that’s some inconvenience, no?

Hope the rest of the vacation is going waaaaaaaaaay better.

  5. That’s why I HATE flying. I’m always afraid they’ll lose my luggage, and then I’d be stranded somewhere with nothing to wear but what I’ve got on. :yuck:

LOL–sounds like we pretty much all hate the flying thing!

Michelle, you’re so right! I normally carry a carry-on with all my makeup and essentials, including a change of clothes, but this time I had to use my laptop as a carryon. ARGH!

Seriously, I’m ready to never fly again. Looking forward to the train, though!

Yay for luggage found! Last month the DH and I flew to Indy for a conference I had to attend for work. My luggage was fine, his they ripped a huge chunk out of the lower left corner. The airline did generously offer to give us a roll of DUCT TAPE to repair the damage, however.

On another note, I just finished Pleasure Unbound. Me Likey! Lots!!
    I am (im)patiently awaiting Shade’s story!
